Good evening ...  and welcome to the Northern Light website.

As you can see we have our theme for Northern Light 2008, and are very excited about all the potential that this holds. We are still finalising all the arrangements for those speakers and leaders who will come and bring that theme to life for us. Updated details will appear here as they are known but we are pleased to say we will be welcoming back some familiar faces as well as introducing you to some new ones.

Bookings are already coming in and we encourage you to book as soon as possible as it helps with all the planning and preparations. So, please … soon as you can … go to the booking page, complete your booking details, then print off the form and send it to us with your cheque.

To help with registration and for the smooth running of the event we need some information about each young person taking part and you can supply this in advance by downloading the PDF here then printing it, completing it and returning it to Sarah Sellers at the address supplied.

Over the past few months a very strong image that has stayed with me for Northern Light has been of a net of light with each of us as individuals or fellowships as nodes of bright light connected by strands of weaker light forming a drag net that holds and draws people together and forward toward Jesus, in whose hands the net is held. As the net grows so does its influence and power to rescue and protect people from the darkness.

One way we are strengthening the net is our new Bulletin Board and Forum. This is a new website facility which we hope will be used widely by Northern Lighters. On it, you can publicise events that you think might be of interest to people you have met at Northern Light. You can ask for or offer help … share thoughts … start or join in a discussion … tell your story … make suggestions for NL 2008 and onwards. It is your bulletin board. Use it! But please note that, in order to do so, you need to contact Neil Booth in order to obtain a username and password. I'm afraid this is necessary in order to prevent the bulletin board being awash with all kinds of stuff that spammers are just waiting to put there.

We shall also be announcing shortly dates for NL get togethers and prayer days and we’ll be putting up a prayer letter very shortly.

Finally for now, take a look at the Site and Accommodation page. Now we have the latest in mapping facilities to help you get to Hollybush Farm without ever getting lost. You asked for it … we’re happy to supply it.
